3Missed a few issues; got debt collection style renewal notices
By Beth
In one year's time, I never received several of the issues. I believe it was two issues that just never showed up. Not sure whose fault that is, but it was annoying.

I knew I was moving soon and decided instead of renewing, I would just start a new subscription at my new address. As the subscription ran out, I was mortified to start receiving debt-collection style renewal notices in the mail. Big red letters with words like "Past Due" were stamped on the outside of the envelope. I was shocked that a magazine that features high-end fashion would stoop to such cheap, trashy methods of getting renewals. Though I enjoy the magazine and love the photo shoots, those notices really turned me off and I decided not to start up a subscription.

2Amazon Orderers with long addresses BEWARE!!
By AnonymousBabe
I love Vogue (all of them, US, Britain, Italia, Japan, Paris...) but if you're ordering from Amazon, keep an eye out. Mine says my subscription started shipping in September. (which was already a while after i originally ordered) but I never got an actual issue until MONTHSSSSS later. Apparently, somehow between my order being sent between Amazon to Voque, my address got cut off and didn't include my entire apartment number. I didn't even KNOW until the mailman successfully figured out the address on 1 issue months later which is where I spotted the descrepancy. I checked my original order on Amazon and my address was correct. After emails & calls back and forth between both Amazon and Hearst/Vogue, I finally got it corrected and got my subscription date changed to match when I really received it. Lame and a lot of unessessary work. Amazon's customer service is great - just a shame it got messed up in the first place (when my original order placed had my address correct) and that I had to waste time fixing a problem I did not make.

1Definitely not what I expected!
By bookworm
So I usually get magazines through the mail (old-fashioned way) and overall I had gotten great results. I believed that if I got a magazine subscription through internet it would be easier and faster. Was I wrong! First of all it took almost 2 months to get the first magazine, and when I did I got a 2 month old magazine, and up to now I have yet to receive the august issue which came out to stores almost three weeks ago. I definitely DO NOT recommend getting magazine subscriptions through anywhere else besides the ancient, yet effective way of mail.
