Bad mood eliminator
By yrhelper
It's pretty awesome to hear The Boosh in its infancy, before Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding's international cult status was a given. Back when this radio show was recorded, they were just a couple of funny Londoners with a crazy, multi-colored, zootastic dream. If you love the DVDs, you can't go wrong with the radio series. Vince and Howard's caustic banter and crimping, and Bob Fossil's zoo mis-management skills, are the antidote to swearing in traffic. LOVE IT!

Aural Intoxication!
By Prairie Rose
This collection is a must for Boosh fans in the US. I became a fan of the TV series courtesy of Adult Swim and purchased everything I could get my hands on subsequently. In other reviews of this collection of BBC Radio broadcasts it was stated that these shows could alleviate urban traffic stress. I find that to be absolutely true, as I have listened to it continuously in the car since the day it arrived. There is something cozy and familiar about Howard "T.J." Moon and Vince Noir being right there beside me, I know that sounds insane. Their reality bends onto ours seamlessly and becomes part of the landscape. I find myself calmed by simply putting it on and reciting along with the dialogue (much of which is clearly improvised). The only disappointing part is the final interview on Disc 3. The recording quality is tinny and echo-ey and it is difficult to focus on whilst driving. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoy the shows time and again. My husband is quite sick of my quipping from the routines and riffing on the smooth jazz stylings of Howard, Jazz maverick. It is pure British hilarity, and worth every cent. I can only hope for more.

Mighty Boosh BBC Radio Series
By angie
i was so happy to get this product! =] i listen to it constantly and its quite funny to listen to it, and then watch the series on DVD because you recognize the jokes and see them in a different way, they are used very differently on the radio show so its interesting to hear the jokes in a new way. This is a must have for any fan or follower of the show.
