Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com
Carrots and potatoes, beets and broccoli--no matter how round, bumpy, or odd the surface, this brush's flexible body will follow the contours. The nylon bristles are strong and sturdy, dislodging dirt in deep nooks and crannies. The Good Grips line features durable, nonslip flexible handles on every product. Ergonomically designed to fit the palm comfortably and softly, the pressure-absorbing processed rubber handle puts less tension on the hands, while providing an outstanding grip. Made from the same material as dishwasher gaskets are constructed of, the handles are slip-proof, wet or dry, as well as dishwasher-safe. Good Grips products are moderately priced and have won the Tylenol/Arthritis Foundation Design Award. --Laurie Notaro

5Comfortable and Functional!
By Bonnie B.
Who would have thought buying a Veggie Brush could be so stressful? I researched all of them for ease of use to functionality to ease of cleaning without fear of bacterial contamination. I went for this one because the reviews were good and I'm glad I did. It was an add on item when I bought it so I don't know what the normal price is but I feel like it was a great bargain at the 'add on item' price. It's really easy to grip and the bristles are firm so you get a good scrub on your vegetables. I wouldn't use it on a tomato but it seems to work great for cleaning potatoes, carrots, apples, etc. I'm not afraid of a little dirt but didn't realize how much dirt I was leaving on my food until I used this. Cleans easily although I have not yet tried cleaning it in the dishwasher. I'm just hand washing it.

4Does exactly what it's supposed to do!
By Sunshine
I really love my vegetable brush! I have used this thing so many times since I got it! It works so well! The only complaint I have is that the top is very rounded and even though its made of a rubber type material, once everything is wet, it's a little harder to grip when you're scrubbing so sometimes it tends to go flying across the sink. It would be nice if it had little rivets or grips on the sides to make it easier to hold. Again, this probably wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't scrubbing so fast or something. Just something to mention! Other than that this works great and does a great job getting all the dirt and who knows what off of my fruits and vegetables!

5For veggies but not corn
By Jennifer T.
Bought this for removing corn silk and doesn't work one bit for that. Scrub harder than just light scrubbing and you pop the kernels open. That's with fresh less-than-24-hrs-old corn on the cob. Maybe store-bought corn would be tougher.
I still give it 5 stars, though, because it works well as a vegetable scrubber. I took a silver Sharpie and wrote on the black rubber handle: "Vegetable Brush" so that my husbands and our mothers wouldn't use it on dishes. Soft enough to be gentle but tough enough on dirt.
