Editorial Reviews
Carrots and potatoes, beets and broccoli--no matter how round, bumpy, or odd the surface, this brush's flexible body will follow the contours. The nylon bristles are strong and sturdy, dislodging dirt in deep nooks and crannies. The Good Grips line features durable, nonslip flexible handles on every product. Ergonomically designed to fit the palm comfortably and softly, the pressure-absorbing processed rubber handle puts less tension on the hands, while providing an outstanding grip. Made from the same material as dishwasher gaskets are constructed of, the handles are slip-proof, wet or dry, as well as dishwasher-safe. Good Grips products are moderately priced and have won the Tylenol/Arthritis Foundation Design Award. --Laurie Notaro

2Was good for about 2 months
By Oksana Mecklenburg
It was good for about two months. The bristles seems to be stiff at first, but that's my first vegetable brush so I did not have anything to compare with. It worked good from the beginning but bristles started to worn out very quick like and they become soft if you clean your vegetables under warm water. I was trying to use the brush very gentle just cleaning a few carrots and sometimes potato a day. I have a picture below what happened to OXO Good Grips Vegetable Brush after two months. That was a learning experience for me. Will look for a different one.

5Cleaning veggies with ease and without pain
By FlaJess
I purchased the OXO Good Grips Flexible Vegetable Brush because I have size-small hands and most brushes feel cumbersome when I hold them. Also, sometimes, I have pain when I bend my fingers, especially when gripping things. I have had this veggie brush for 6 months and treasure it! It fits perfectly in my palm and, best of all, no pain when using. I am able to clean carrots and potatoes with ease, AND the brush gets the veggies very clean. I have not tried it on mushrooms or used it for removing corn silk, however, if you find the bristles too firm for those jobs, try using a dry soft-bristle toothbrush or a damp paper towel. The OXO Good Grips Vegetable Brush is one of the best kitchen utensils I have purchased in a long time. I highly recommend it.

Note, in response to other reviews who state the bristles are too hard: please be aware there are a lot of OXO counterfeit products for sale. If the product you received differs from the majority of the reviews, or the quality seems suspect, you may have received a "knock-off." Genuine OXO products ALWAYS have the logo on the handle, regardless of the item. When in doubt, or if you're unhappy about your item, contact OXO directly. I have never been dissatisfied with a genuine OXO product.

5Good Grips Flexible Vegetable Brush wins against other OXO veggie brush
By flori-Dormouse
I got two OXO Veggie brushes at the same time. I know OXO to be a great brand, so I was expecting nothing but the best from both of them. I tested both brushes on sweet potatoes, which I like to eat skin-on, so intense scrubbing is required. The one brush was OXO's Natural Bristle Brush OXO Good Grips Natural Bristle Veggie Brush which just wasn't up to the task. Not only did it do a poor job cleaning, but it shed bristles all over the sink and my sweet potato. While the grip was made of material I would expect from OXO, it never felt comfortable in my hand. On the flip side, OXO's Good Grips Flexible Vegetable Brush's handle was made of the same material, but unlike the Natural Bristle Brush, it fits comfortably in the palm of my hand. I have an average-sized hand for a female, so it might feel out of place or disappear if you're a man with large hands. For comfort, durability and ability to get the job done, OXO's Good Grips Flexible Vegetable Brush wins.
