Editorial Reviews
The Russian Diver Watch by Invicta is a powerful black and silver timepiece done in a canteen style with a screw-cap crown and chain. The luminous hands and indexes make it easy to read the time, and the adjustable buckle on the comfy band make for a good fit. Featuring large Arabic numbers and a convenient date display just under 12 o'clock, the grand 52 millimeter stainless steel case frames the black dial with the notable Russian Diver logo in place of 12 o'clock. Water resistant to 330 feet, this eye-catcher will have people noticing, especially when paired with jeans and a t-shirt.

4Invicta 4342
By Jimmy Mitchell
Folks, this watch is B I G.

It came on the day is was sched to arrive.
Packaging was ok, not great, as the Amazon box had only 2 air-pocket inserts,
and the nice yellow Invicta box was able to move around a good bit during shipping.
There was also no Amazon purchase/invoice slip included.
The instructions-booklet was informative and easy to read, I liked that part considering many
brands of watches seem to have instructions that are near incoherent.

I like the watch as it is very beautiful. It's quite 'shiny' and flashy. The date window is a nice add, especially at the
12 o'clock marker - looks sweet. The case is ginormous, which I knew it would be. I got the watch as almost a novelty for it's size & boldness. Did I mention it is big?

The 4342 has the tritnite feature which allows for the glow in the dark function.
Keep it in the light for a good while and it'll hold a glow for some time.
Again, this badboy is very large, but not quite to the point you don't wanna wear it.
(and I have small wrists)
This one will just be a matter of taste on how large someone wants their watch.

I give it 4* stars for the less-than-good packaging... but the quality, appearance, and cool factor
more than make up for the boxing shortcoming; however, it's a 4.5* on it's own merits,
but their is no 1/2star xtra to give.

{{I actually plan to get a 12571 to wear casually}}

Also, the 4342 was only $65 here on Amazon... can't beat that for such a nice watch!

4An incredible buy!
By Rik D
I've had my watch now for 2 weeks, and simply love it (particularly price). It's huge, awesome, and gets noticed. At night, it can be read from a mile away.

The size and wight don't bother me, nor do i even notice the crown chain. I wouldn't recommend for people with smaller than a 7" wrist, or larger than 8". Because of the weight, I wear it high on the wrist so that the crown doesn't dig into my hand any more than absolutely necessary. This makes the fit rather snug. My wrist is 7.5" and I wear it on the second to last hole. Because of the extreme down slope of the straps (where they attach to the lugs), the fit is rather snug even when i loosen it to the last hole. Buckling/un-buckling can be a trick, the straps are very stiff. For me, it is NOT an all-day watch for sure. I posted a picture so you can see it on a normal wrist size (the other pictures were of someone with a skinny wrist).

I seems to be adequate as a recreational or backup dive watch; however, it doesn't have a rotating bezel. I figure I can simply set the watch to 12-Noon when i dive...problem solved. I do worry about the depth rating a bit, but have not had problems with 100m watches in the past...and hopefully the 5yr warranty will be honored if i do have a moisture issue.

5Quality is very good!!! STUNNING ACTUALLY!!!
By Tazzy
We bought these watches for our groomsmen, and we are extremely impressed and happy with our purchase! After looking around the internet for detail images of this watch, the shine on the watch prevents the camera from capturing how detailed this watch really is in person. We were worried that the watch quality would reflect the price, and after seeing dozens of images online, we purchased it anyway. When the watches arrived, we were VERY surprised at how beautifully built these watches really were. The online photos do not do this watch justice.

The dial is very crisply printed, the date on the date wheel and minute/hour hands are also very crisp. The coin edge on the canteen is also very precisely machined, as are the screw threads and the lettering on the case back. The band feels very high quality, and nicely detailed with the "diver weight" inserts. Others have said the band is short for them, but we found these bands to be long enough - maybe this has already been addressed by Invicta.

Overall, the feel of the watch is very quality. It has a very solid weight and feel to it. The dial is minimal and stunning to look at. The bezel is very highly polished and flawless. The lume on this watch is also incredibly bright. We were initially thinking of getting the chrono version of this watch, but when we finally saw this watch in person, we have no regrets.

We have looked at many watches in the mall at similar price points and you simply cannot compare the quality for the price. The price on this watch is crazy low for what you are getting. Usually $100 watches have sloppy printing on dials from overprinting and the components are cast instead of machined. You can also usually tell how much attention to detail there is by flipping a watch over and looking at the caseback. This watch has a beautiful etched caseback that is crisp to read. You can't find that on any watch under $100 anywhere!

The only down side to this watch is actually the presentation box. It comes in the standard yellow Invicta box, which is a great box, but we have seen some of the Russian Divers come in the red Russian Diver boxes. Since these were gifts, we would've loved to have the option of getting the "official" Russian Diver boxes. This is not a big deal, but it would have been a nice touch.

For those thinking that this watch looks like a generic sub $100 watch, it's not! This watch could easily sell for much higher on the build finish alone. We are very thrilled with our purchase!
