4Always wondered what the magazine was like. Not what I expected but still pretty cool
By deathsour
Saw the movies heavy metal. Always wondered what the magazine was like. Not what I expected but still pretty cool. Heavy metal has some very talented artists. And I always thought that the magazine was filled with rock music stuff, and comic style art, and very graphic visuals and stories. This magazine was none of that really, except some graphic visuals, no rock music though, but not what I expected. Still good for my collection since I loved the movies so much. Some of the comics in these magazines are really interesting though like the battle between vlad and radu. Better than most other magazines I could find on amazon. Still though probably wont get another subscription, though I might purchase more individual issues of some of heavy metals work.. Mainly because Heavy metal magazine has some really great work out there.

4Inspiring Art and Writing
By Nathaniel Wayne
While the covers and art are often tailored to appeal to the more juvenile male sensibilities, the simple truth is that in any given issue there is usually at least one truly excellent story. While the level of quality of any overall issue can and does vary, the sheer variety is worth the price of admission for those with a love of the fantastical.

5I love Heavy Metal Magazine
By Lena Carlson
I first found out about Heavy Metal as a kid, I watched it on TV with my dad and my siblings. Then I found an issue of the magazine at my neighbor's house. Later I bought my collection of classic issues from a local comic book shop. Finally I just had to subscribe after having read an issue last year the had Requiem Chevalier Vampire in it. I've bought individual issues on and off throughout the years, but Requiem finally made me really want to subscribe.
