George has really put together a book that consolidates several top-producing nymphing techniques and presents them in a way that any angler can apply to there fishing. Full of great information on the European/Comp techiques as well as indicator nymphing and dry dropper rigs. Tons of fly patterns and some great leader forumlas. A must have for any fly angler.

    5Best Nymphing Book in Print
    By J. Horne
This book is comprehensive, and full of information. It doesn't solely focus on competition techniques, so people can't knock on that aspect. It shows you how to use split shot and indicators to improve your fishing. It also shares the fly boxes of one of the best competition anglers in the United States. It has detailed instructions on each aspect of the techniques that he shares. He doesn't hold back his knowledge. You should buy this book, you won't be disappointed. The cool thing is, it is one of those books that advanced anglers will learn from. I consider myself an expert at Euro Nymphing, George is better than I am, and I learned a lot from this book.

5Finally, European techniques deciphered for the American Audience!
    By Jason Baker
Excellent content and photography departs from the rudimentary sketches we see so often in explaining fly fishing techniques. Descriptive text by each photo ensures understanding and show actual rod, line, and fly position to achieve mastery of these techniques. Explains rod preference, lines and leader set up, short-line and long-line tactics, and flies employed to achieve success. Is written, and for the first time, in a manner comfortable to the American fly fisherman learning to add some new techniques to their arsenal. Material is presented in a comfortable way making one realize this isn't a complete change to what you already know, but rather some adjustments that will take your techniques to the next level. (i.e. maybe out fish your buddies, lol) This book is full of goodies that took me years to "find out", but more importantly describes them in a language I wish I would have heard (and more readily understood) years ago. Bravo George, you have demystified these techniques and made them very understandable to the reader. I highly recommend this book! It has earned "coffee table" status in my home....
