5A different kind of teen magazine
By Just a Girl
Because it "keeps it clean", Justine is appropriate for younger or more conservative readers that either don't need or don't appreciate opening up a magazine to see scantily clad girls or info on contraceptives. Justine is big on content and low on ads. Articles span many topics, from crafts and book reccomendations to beauty tips and a few celebrity interviews. Controversial things aren't covered, but nobody is forcing you to read only this one magazine. Whether or not you love or hate this magazine depends on whether you attach a positive or negative connotation to the word "wholesome".

If you miss your elementary-school "American Girl" days and spent middle school put off by the celeb-crazy, boy-crazy, or "trashy" teen fare, Justine will be right up your alley.

5Great Magazine
By Molly
This magazine is great. It has alot of simplicity. It doesn't talk about all the latest celebrity gossip which makes it nice. My favorite section is the D.I.Y. because the projects are cute and simple. Find out what your favorite section is; order it now! (Although the cover price is expensive, it sure is worth a try)

4A wholesome, refreshing magazine for teens!
By A Customer
I've always loved New Moon, but sometimes I want something with more makeup/hair tips, clothes, and celebs. Justine is just that -- but with much more. In the latest issue (Holiday 2004 -- sadly, this terrific magazine features surfer Bethany Hamilton, a guide to skiing, a story from a reader, as well as a story about a teen broadcaster! Stories are interesting, inspiring, and trendy at the same time. Gift subscriptions should be a hit with your teen girls!

The only real flaw I've found in this magazine is the lack of honesty. True, everything is non-offensive and "safe" but it would be nice if they addressed world issues, such as politics. It's still a great mag!
